Thank you so much for sharing with me!
It looks like mine.

Iam in holidays and when I get back, my new case it's waiting for me.

I think that will solve my issue!
No problem, enjoy your holiday and stop worrying

You should follow up with iBasso though to put your mind completely at rest, as @jamato8 says, they are good people and will no doubt have an explanation for it :relaxed:

Excuse me, but the back is coated with some velvetty or silk like feeling material, atleast that's how it's on mine and my brother's one. Alcohol should not be used to clean it, just a microfiber cloth is enough.

Right. I cleaned my DX240 and used water and also alcohol. It does it slightly but not much and goes right away. I would correspond with ibasso. They are good people.
I have get back to the Ibasso team, and I can confirm that they are good people, and concerned about providing quickly feedback to their clients

Thanks again for replying my message.

Now back home, the case is on and may Quad Era-1 sound so good 😊

Since my Sony is the European version (volume cap), I hadn't had the opportunity to make the most of the Quads yet. I'm very happy to have chosen Ibasso for the second time.

I still have the AMP5 MOD for test, but for now iam with the stock amp.
Is there some special care to take, changing the amp module?

Please tell me, I also want to buy these headphones, is the IBasso dx240 powerful enough to drive these headphones?

Hello,

Yes, and iam using the medium gain settings.
Its a lovely tonality, great bass impact with the right definition, and all notes are cristal clear.

But I advise you to by the some headband, like this one that I bought for me.

Actually mine also has the same, also black version of dx240 and back has similar mark - only it goes from top to bottom - one big mark that shows itself more everytime i make it more dirty with my hands. It is not possible to remove this as this seem like something imprinted or glued to the frosted back. But this is only cosmetics, seems some batch was made this way. For me its not a problem as i am listening this device more than looking at it but still some minor outside aesthetics defect that ruins the complete looks of it.
Just after your photos i know mine unit not only one with similar "ghost mark"
