Anyone tried using the DX240 as a bluetooth DAC yet? I want to try to play music from my iPhone X paired with my DX240 which is connected to my Meze Liric. Issue is even though it says connected, when I play a son on Tidal on my iphone it just plays on the iphone, not on the DX240. I'm I missing something?

You getting the Bluetooth dac connection screen? Mine works wonderful although I'm on android.

Are you using the Mango player's "Bluetooth DAC" in advanced menu? I can play from my iPhone just fine.

I hooked up some BT headphones just to see how the BT transmitter/receiver worked and the range and connection are really good. Something I couldn't say about dx160 and dx220.

I agree the connectivity has matured really nicely. I can stream from my phone, or use it as a source to stream to other DAPs. Really nice!

Aww thanks guys!! I didn't realize it's done in the Mango Player settings and not in the Android UI. Works now

DX240 incoming, had to "downgrade" my SP2000 T to pay off some crazy IEM purchases but I'm looking forward to this one. Small DAP with a quick android UI? Hopefully the sound lives up to the hype I have placed it, knowing iBasso it will though.

So you bought the 240? How does it compare to the R5S?

Bigger screen, bigger dap, more power and a it sounds really good. R5S is no slouch but this thing sounds more open and holographic. I didn't really like dx220 but I like this. I'd say it's one of the best sounding I've heard. It's detailed yet refined, and a touch euphoric/vivid sounding.

Also as the DX300 when the right filter was applied got close enough to the DX220 w/amp8EX i sold the amp8EX before the DX240 was announced.

DX300 was close enough but the faster ui and extended battery life pushed it forward.

But i just gotta know the dx240/amp8EX combo and so i re-bought another through the classfieds.

DX240 is playing hi-res/lossless fine through phone out, for example, Taylor Swift's Red (Taylor's version) at 96/24. It should also be the same out of line out but I have not used the line out yet.

I meant to also ask can it feed a USB DAC in lossless in a otg mode.

Hope you enjoy it! It's such a nice little device. Just give it a little time for the amp to open up, like all other iBasso products.

I find it is a little bit of an upgrade over the SP2000. A friend brought his over. But let it burn in.
