DX240 660 Tool for using the .img firmware. This is what we use at our factory. With any of these, I try them myself but also print out the directions. For me at least, that is easiest.

Curious to see the price..I’m guessing it will be more expensive by a decent amount than the DX160..I’m guessing in the $750-$800 range to sit in between the DX300 and the DX160..there’s a lot of competition in this price range now. It looks the same screen size as the DX160..We shall hopefully see soon

I heard the 9068 in the Kann Alpha and it was nothing special. That 9038Pro though, that is juicy. I am happy iBasso stuck with the desktop DACs for the 200 series.
Also, as the 220 was one of the first 8.1 Android players I hope the 240 will uphold that tradition and operate on 9 or 10 - or 11! (one can dream)

I don't stream, so have no need/want for Android, but I'm still interested. Battery life will be very important to me. I go in just presuming this will be a nice-sounding device, so I'll consider a bunch of ancillary variables most consciously.

Nice! Now seriously contemplating parting the M11+ LTD for the DX240, which would make for an excellent iBasso Trio collection - DX240, DX300, DX300MAX

Pretty sure it's gona be in the 900usd till 1200usd price range. It's an upgrade to the dx220 and with more expensive and harder to implement dac chip and all the new fpga and CPU pretty sure best ibasso can do pricewise is match what dx220 went for, more likely what the dx200 went for.

$1200 seems like too much since that’s the DX300’s price point. Realistically the odds are poor that it will retail for less than $1000, but I’d love for it to settle right between the 160 and 300 at around $800. Or. $1000 bundled with an additional amp module.

Would love for it to be that way as well.
