I put Amp1mk3 back in (from amp3mod) and still like it very much. I like my transients . The Micron commercial 1TB interfaces very well with the stock setup.

Bought the Mk1 as soon as I got the dx240 mainly for the 4.4mm out

With classical music I prefer the more analogue hue of the AMP8 MK2.

All my headphones and IEMs are balanced but when I tested it for reviewing purposes it sounded very good.

I can see that but I actually prefer the stock amp overall and my IEMs aren't warmer ones. More focused an separated but I totally understand enjoying the weight a drive of AMP8MK2, I prefer amp3mod to amp8mk2 overall as it's got that rounder warmth with a bit more focus. To me, these are more different flavors of attributes as opposed to one being better than another. Eye (or needs) of the beholder type stuff.

It has great slam but it is not agressive.
Very natural sounding.
