Just like anything “former” right ? You can’t support and safe guard your “former president” the way you do with “current president” for example . But Ibasso has proven that they would still work on firmware updates and so on. Just be patient, This one is the same platform as Max, with a little tweaks

Nope. Never happen. The DX220....especially if you have modded it to EX isn’t going away.

Even before, the updates were like so. Let us 220 owners let them push out the 300 for a while.
When the 220 was released, the 200 f/w updates get theirs, even after the 220 were way selling.
Don't you wish a full revamp on the mango os? (wishful thinking, but could happen)

I'm sticking w/ my 229 for now and for the coming months. No rush. I still haven't had enough of it. A lot more albums to re-discover.

I've recently got some problems with my DX220. After starting it, It can play music for a few seconds, than it reboots again, sometimes once, sometimes several times. After stopping it (always with battery fully charged, I always use it with external charging) the next day the battery is 100% full, or totally drained. So what is the best way to totally clean the software and reload it again? I'm using it wirth FW 1,17 with Lurker's add on. Suggestions/help is much appreciated. Sorry for not looking at the first page, will use these tools.

No I haven't tried that. But just to be sure I guess a fully clean start is maybe the best to do. I'ts strange, I never had these problems untill a few days ago. I love and hate those bits and bytes.

@fokta 's stack is one of the Best I've seen. Very neat & tidy.
I wouldn't be surprised, a properly milled single side metal alignment jig is on the way soon...

yes, there's an unique sound u won't find in single DAP.
yes u re absolutely right, stack is an art, not all stack produce good sound.

@fokta 's stack is one of the Best I've seen. Very neat & tidy.

a small separate power line with linear psu and very good grounding will be nice.. if it exists... lol
