The 2020+ BM is awesome. I don’t know why there are some that complains so much about them not being sporty lol, but that is the topic for another thread

Miter case gives longer life to DX220 ... well, sorta

Most of my listening time is just 2 or 3 hours in the evening so I usually don't use this. Most of the time I just use the DX220 in it's orange case. Battery is at the point where I maybe get 4 - 4.5 hours now so I'm charging either every day or every other day. But if I end up running low on juice or I have the time to use the 220 for a longer session, I just slip the 220 of the orange case and into this one ...

It's a Miter case velcro'd to cheap 5V portable charger / power bank.
Of course, it's no longer what I would call "portable", not even close. It weighs in at 512 grams and it's bulky. But it works well enough for lugging the player around the house with me which is how I use it most of the time anyway. The pack provide plenty of juice. If the DX220 battery meter is at 100%, it stays there while the power banks battery meter level decreases. If the DX220 power meter is at less than 100%, the battery bank charges the DX220 while it's in use. Point being, it supplies plenty of current to charge the DX220 when it's in use, no matter how loud I listen. I realize that this is not a practical solution for most users. It's probably not the best idea in terms of battery health either, but my 220's battery is all but shot anyway.

I am coming late... Just installed latest Purist ROM 1.19 yesterday. Surprised that I don't have Mango player anymore in Android mode... Did I do something wrong ?

I decided to replace the battery in the player to the new, ordered from Ibasso. Before installing, I decided to measure the tension and it turned out that the battery was discharged in 0. Was the battery is broken and unsuitable?
