A good brand must maintain its high reputation in the audio community with a high level of service in all areas.
Like this thread which is a source of healthy information exchange

The DX50, DX150, DX200 thread is very much running, i was just there w/ my response to a fellow ibasso dap user.
will be the same in here.
Ibasso's level of after sales support is extremely high...

I just returned my DX220 back to the retailer for inspection / repair.

My battery life was horrible from day 1. Max. 4 hours for flac files, flight mode, Mango, no EQ, low gain, low volume, balanced, screen off. It annoyed me badly seeing such an obvious design flaw in a k$1 product. As a result I did not use it as often as I should have (because it sounds so very good). Also, I recently switched back from Nutube to the stock amp, using the balanced out. It ticks all boxes for my pleasant listening with a bassy IEM. Perfect.

Not related to the amp-switch (it started with the Amp9 already) and hard to believe but the battery started getting even worse recently, so you could watch those percentages dropping on the fly. Interestingly this is not even exactly reproducable. I took a quick vid for the retailer and it showed a drop from 100% to 95% in 4 mins. After watching it, they asked me to send the DX in.

From all my readings on this subject I came to believe that the very early units had a higher chance to get a messy battery. Since I got mine right after it was available, I calm myself down with the hope that they will replace the battery (or whatever needs to be done) and I get it back with a min run time of at least 6 hours afterwards. Still a joke, but you see how easy I am to please these days ...

On the bright side: I switched back to my DP-X1, unplugged the arrowhead and use the standard balanced out and the Atlas. And it sounds and feels good! Not as present as the DX220 and a bit anemic in direct comparison but ok for the time being. And it's suited well for classic with a nice separation and the ever so slightest anaylitical touch. And, despite the age of the battery, 6 hours uptime are the standard. Great. Oh and on a final word: How good is the Onkyo-Player app in comparison to the ibasso! Just so great to add entire folders to an existing queue or starting after the current song. Sigh... I really wish ... Ah - never mind ... :)

Hello,
New to this thread. I have had my DX220 for about 6 weeks now and have really been enjoying it.
This morning I was unable to connect to my wifi. I can see the available networks in settings. I can enter my password. The device attempts to connect but is unsuccessful.
I have done a factory reset.
I am running build 1.17.256.
Appreciate any help with this.
Thanks

My DX220 always goes into power saving mode after I disconnect the charger. The bars turning bright red is really annoying. Any way to fix? DX seems to ignore any changes made to auto on option.
