how long i should break in this thing ?
because i find lack of bass now .

I loved mine from Day 1.

I don’t believe in Burn in as making a huge difference to sound. OK maybe the sound will change a little but not ‘night & Day’.

I suspect ‘Night and Day’ changes are due to listeners wanting to believe the sound has changed a lot , rather than it actually happening.

Really enjoying the dx220 amp8, with oppo pm3 headphones tonight. Great sound without spending a fortune. I'm going to get amp 9 next. Was considering buying a more expensive dap but I think this ibasso will do nicely!

Man, that’s a strange thought, unless you had something specific in mind... LOL
I don't say DX229 is my end game DAP, eventually paradigm will change and I'll desire for that brain plugged music stream from the whole galaxy, but sound wise it will be very very hard for anything to convince me to a change, I guess in the upcoming 3 or 4 years at least.

Lol, no it's just that I've fancied an n8 for quite a while. However, I think the dx220 sounds great with amp 8. I'll get AMP9 soon which I'm sure that I'll enjoy. What headphones/iems have you paired with amp9?

Focal Clear and A&K (JH Audio) Angie 2, both a good match to AMP9
