It is the same as Max volume. In Android it is customizable and standard is at 150 max. If you lower it to 100, you will have similar loudness as MangoOS which is capped at 100. You can find it in setting and audio setting
but somehow is not the same...
using Headphone 60 ohm. Mango OS 40-45, while Mango Apps 60-65 (alrd Cap to Max 100)....

same dynamic, just need to adjust the mindset...

Very strange ! LoL. This is when you would need to tag @Paul - iBasso :). Please fix the volume matching increments and loudness from Android Mango and Mango OS :D

I don't think this needs a fix as last volume set is kept in each system separately even after a reboot. If to be done then it would go to the bottom of my priorities... if I was iBasso of course :darthsmile:

Just taking the opportunity to say this record never sounded better

Obviously!

Obviously again: slower CPU speed means less heat. Also better thermal control...

@Lurker0

I thought there was an increase in clock speed when I read this.
  • 126MHz CPU frequency added (216MHz is officially lowest), which is enough for most tasks.
I still find it kind of hot after 20mins of mp3s though.
But loved the HiBy app addon, thanks!

DX220 > AMP8 > Zen White
I love almost everything about this dap, especially the screen. Only a few things i don't like but those are just my personal taste. Battery life is kinda short. If im not wrong, its shorter than dx200. The wheel looks cheap. The color of the case is so ugly and the dap runs kinda hot.
But overall i love this dap. So much improvements from the dx200.

Just picked up a DX220 from a fellow Head-Fi’er :) Should be here at the latest Monday next week. Looking forward to receiving it and comparing it to my SP1000M Gold.
Whattt, congratulations! That was an awesome pick up. Good deal ? I hope so. I can’t believe someone already let it go
