The sound has changed a little bit in android mode
Obviously!
And one interesting fact, 4 hours of continuous listening of 24bit mqa and player was warm but not hot.
Obviously again: slower CPU speed means less heat. Also better thermal control...

Something is a little weird with the DX220. I'm on the latest software and I dont have some of the power management features some of you have. However, today had a play around with the DX220 at my supplier and the normal eq was available, but no PEQ. Plus it was substationally louder than mine. Using my iems, 65 on low gain was loud. Mine at a similar output has to be on around 90 or so. Both are using the same amp card. Wierd.

edit:- Just figured out how to go to pure Mango mode. It's much more powerful at the same gain?

No, Mango is capped out at 100 volume increments where as Android is 150 standard, but is customizable. It is best to set android to 100 as well

Two days ago I’ve managed to install add-on by Lurker. The sound has changed a little bit in android mode. I’ve listened hiby player and usb player pro. And one interesting fact, 4 hours of continuous listening of 24bit mqa and player was warm but not hot.
Thanks for your post!
This Hiby app manages to recognise my playlists, finally!

How do you set "volume increments" in Android? its not the same as max volume right?
TIA

It is the same as Max volume. In Android it is customizable and standard is at 150 max. If you lower it to 100, you will have similar loudness as MangoOS which is capped at 100. You can find it in setting and audio setting
