Pre-order for the Max has been placed. Looking forward to getting it before the end of June. Excited to compare it to the DX220 with an Ultimate mod AMP8.

Looks like I'll be selling my DX220, AMP7, AMP9, and Ultimate mod AMP8 if the Max can beat it.

Just thinking of what fidelizer mods will be like with it....

Get back the modded amp8 from my friend today and the differences are very noticeable even with just 8 hrs of burn in.
The mid is much more detailed and opened. Bass is much more impactful and the soundstage is expanded.
Can't wait to hear the improvement after more burn in time for the new caps.

My dx220 arrived today.

5 days from order to arrival. AMAZING!!!
Hong Kong to Upper Ohio Valley.

Doing burn in right now after listening to about a dozen songs.
Sounded pretty good right out of the box.

has fw version 1.15.233.

Playing for about 2 hrs and gets just slightly warm.
High gain
filter 4
eq off

flac only right now.
Will do burn-in at 20hr increments and do some listening.
Want to do about 120 hrs burn-in before putting in service.

I'm in LOVE.
