Does anyone use actively USB Audio app from Lurker0 addon?
I discovered one problem: attach and detach can’t be successfully done for Tidal Master playing - it is just cycling, put play in Tidal app on pause.

Changing settings to HiFi only for Master albums and playing non-Master files are okay.
Additionally I have tested Apple Music and Deezer HiFi (FLAC 44/16) and didn’t identify any problem.
So, looks like problem is connected to MQA unfolding.

I have not had this issue since I turned off the wifi but what I've noticed is that I didn't have this issue at home but
when I am out side near the public wireless hotspots (at work or gym) may be....strong emission of EMI/RFI is what
I am thinking but I wouldn't know for sure.

...& when the Amp8 EX Fan Mod was entertained by Ibasso, that was a game changer. It'll go down in history as the 1st, the pioneer in such a kind of campaign...

Hello,

any DX220 owners who also own the Hugo 2?
Am curious if the 220 in desktop DAC mode can match that of the Hugo 2

on Mojo now for cans but reckon even the DX220 is a big step up (pretty sure from dem—ing)
though I appreciate a lot my 228ex on the go (usually with IEM Shure 846), I have to say that Dx228ex with Hugo 2 and my Stellia is a step ahead.
Everything is clearer, the bass has more punch but still very tight, entire soundstage is more advanced, wonderful midrange, trebles are detailed but never stingy...
I believe that more power for Stellia, though they are very sensitive, makes the difference.
Sooner or Later I will buy a dedicated amp like SPL Phonitor XE and I believe it will improve again.
Yet, DX220EX+Hugo 2+Stellia is a wonderful experience, the best I ever had, I never got so close to bliss in my entire audio-life

Actually hugo 2 is next thing im buying. From what research i did. It should be a no brainer choice.

Another question is - whats the point using dap with hugo2? Do you get any benefit over using crappy
Phone and hugo2?

I have an iPhone. First I don't trust the ability to transfer sound quality via the lightning port adaptor+USB cable. Second, I listen to Hi Res material and cannot load enough music into iPhone memory, so for me listening to music via phone it's just an "emergency" situation.
On the go, unless I sit for 9 hours on a plane, I use DAP+Shure 846 and not Hugo 2+Stellia.
Yet, back to your point, Hi Res music via iPhone+Hugo 2+Stellia has still a tangible higher quality to my ears than iTunes stuff (or even streaming sources like Tidal or Primephonic that I use as well...I don't know for how long, since I don't perceive the Hi Res quality they are selling at quite high price - or at least not enough, compared to what I hear with my own Hi Res material).
I have to say that I'd prefer the flexibility of playlists in an iPhone rather than Mango OS that I consider very basic under that point of view and quite disappointing
