I find DX229 is more engaging and musical at Mango OS rather then on UAPP in Android OS...
and the High AMP9 output is more powerfull on Mango OS only used volume 44/100, while felt the same volume at 88/150 on Android OS.

Yeah, I definitely agree about MangoOS being a much better performer in comparison to Android Poweramp and UAPP, or even Android Mango. However, I appreciate Android OS as I can do whatever I want there, when needed

dont get me wrong, I still need Android OS to add or transfer Song when I don't bring my Laptop, & only with Smartphone, by using USB Card + Usb C dongle...

Just prefer listen more on Mango OS....

Anyway, let's fill the time with Witcher serial, hope can distract AMP8EX waiting....

Yes. Part of the reason why I love the DX220...versatility.

All streaming apps simply work on DX220 and output music at its original sample rate ? (Fiio and others have issues with Amazon Music )

Games, videos etc output their audio without issues as well ?

That is strange. Never had that happen. First thing I would do is a factory reset and if that doesn't work then a reinstall of the firmware from the 1st page and then update directly to the latest firmware.

Very well could be. I would do a reinstall of the firmware.

Mine has been doing that more often recently. I change tracks and it goes away but sometimes I do have to restart. It also doed it when I switch jacks or cables.

I will let it burn in first before posting any sound comparisons but as far as the background goes the DX228 Ex is darker 100%, that’s not a knock to the SP2000 either which already is superb at it, this is just another notch above which is sort of hard to imagine but it’s for sure there.
