Unfortunately the problem continued so I will order the battery from Paul tonight and hope that we'll solve the problem.

While I'm at it, is anyone here familiar with those ultra portable daps iike M5, M0, and ap8? I might pick up one of them for the gym or for running. I need some incentive to exercise.

I have M0 And AP80. Both good little daps.

M0 is a bit warmer and the Ap80 more towards neutral.

The m0 Is slightly smaller.

I have not tried the FiiO M5.

I have a fiio btr1k for the gym. When running and such I don’t really care about the quality but I do like the connection to my phone in case of a call.
I feel anything larger than a iPod classic gets in the way... I am wondering if I would notice a difference between the dx200 and btr while exercising.... hmmmm...

dx200 temperatur becomes hot when playing Tidal MQA.
Gain position is low at volume 70. Is it normal ?

Didn’t notice this... not really significantly anyway, or not more than the same thing with Mango between CD or HiRes quality it does take more processing power for sure.

To me amp9 has more reference sound but it has 3.5 SE for your Andromeda whereas amp8 has 4.4 bal.

Andromeda is quite bright, thus I think you should get a warmer amp for it, which is Amp9.

I have PW05 8wire for Angie and N6ii. Ares II 8wire for Spartan and DX229 but I prefer Eros II 8wire for Phantom and DX229.

hi folks, I have DX200 and using it for about 3 years now. Starting this week, my DX200 suddenly switch off when playing music. The battery indicate it is at 91% before it suddenly switch off. So i switch on the player and the battery indicator shows 89%. this problem occurs every 2/3 minutes everytime I switch on the player. Could u advice me what to do with it? FYI, Im on the latest firmware which is V1.07 and using AMP9, AMP 7 & AMP4

If it is still the original battery you are using, then I recommend replacing the battery
You can buy it from Ibasso for €15 (excluding shipping)
Replacing is easy do it yourself

I had the same problem, and now it is working perfect again
