Another great thing is the battery life of the DX200 is great. I did a 10 hour flight and I was at 85% at the end of it. It's great to save my phones battery

10hrs continuous play and 85% at the end of it? Or sporadic use in between the 10hrs flight?

30mins train ride would have knock mine down to about 88% on Spotify (offline).

You are using the Android Tool from the Official Android firmware or from one of the Beta firmwares on the iBasso site? You have to use that on a PC and then can update to the latest firmware via the SD micro card.

Can’t go from Android 6.x to 8.x directly via OTA. Need to flash.

Ah, I see that now.

I'm using the tool now to update. Sadly, the user guide for updating misses some important steps, and I've had to figure it out mostly on my own. lol

Dear DX200 owners... I have a confession to make. I have been following this thread since post #1 and bought the DX200 at 1st batch without audition, gone through multiple RMA and finally ended up with the limited Titanium version.
Now with the birth of DX220, I'm feeling happy and sad at the same time. Happy that iBasso is continuing to develop great product and keep pushing the boundaries with very reasonable price. However, it's sad to see the DX200 being left behind, with this thread becoming so slow. Nevertheless, let's embrace for more good things from iBasso. Ok, end of ranting.

Wait...I still have to add on... although i know chances are quite slim, I really really wish to see a new UI for DX200 especially after I've seen the DX150 and DX220.

Have a great day ahead, all.

Ibasso never left their former products out, especially the flagship. Both 200 and 220 are flagship level of similar tier and pricing. The thread has slowed down since Ibasso is busy rolling out 220, but rest assured that the 200 is never going to be left cold and dissipate away.

The Dx200Titanium and Copper-gold are Ibasso Pride and glory. It will set an example, and also a foundation for the next flagships such as dx220 and with god bless, customer loyalty from great products that brings real value at an affordable price and a lot of care for the customers, Ibasso plans and will journey well into long term sufficient of a business model. I am pretty sure

Couple shots of my DX200Titanium EX Modified and Amp8-EX that is connected to my large Stereo .

Dx200 remains the most versatile Portable Player that I had ever encountered. I love it everyday. I have connected Amp8 and 4.4mm out as lineout to many devices, including Hi-fi amp, and Stax top tier amp!

Reading 1.06 changelog I see it's a minor update. No change in sound signature or other.
Correct?

Any chances that DX200 is going to get the same Mango interface like the DX220?

I had this problem too, you need to first upgrade to this build, then you will be able to upgrade to the latest build:

"To jump from Android 6 to 8 you need to flash this build first http://www.ibasso.com/uploadfiles/download/DX200FW-8.1-V1.01.006.zip but you need to do it with the included Flash Tool from a Windows computer, all instructions and tools are included in the download"

You can see my posts on page 1404 of this thread.

Yes, it was pretty much continuous. I took the same flight back and I got 65%. Maybe I was using different difficulty of files?

Keep in mind this is using Bluetooth out, the amp section of the DX200 is not being used, which takes up most of the power.

10hrs continuous play and 85% at the end of it? Or sporadic use in between the 10hrs flight?

30mins train ride would have knock mine down to about 88% on Spotify (offline).

Is there any way in Mango mode to change the default name of the Playlists? I don’t like to create playlists if afterwards I don’t know which kind of music is within each one.
