I also have the Empyrean and waiting for my balanced cables to arrive. I like AMP8 but sometimes it can be too bassy for me (Andromedas). Overall I prefer AMP4 for most of my headphones, but still can't tell for the Empyreans till my cables arrive.
Which pads do you prefer on the Empyrean?
The velour ones better tonality.

Definitely agree with this. Using a Bimby into my amp has yielded no better sound quality or enjoyment than say the DX200. I have an incoming Denafrips Ares. That likely will be a different story but more about liking R2Rs over most other DACs.

so, today I have just tested the DX200Titanium as a USB Digital out source

It is then connected to my ES9038Pro dual with upgraded OCXO oscilliators and other stuffs, the LKS004 DAC, which has always been a pretty good performer, and just as well as Dx200, it is punching ways beyond it price.

Now, the result is still again pretty disappointing, I am not sure if I had done anything wrong, but again I never been able to successfully use Dx200 as a USB Digital out source. There are glitches everywhere.

1/ timing glitches, there are clear distortions and lags in sound performances that can be observed. This newest firmware improved it somewhat, it no longer stuttering, but losses of details is very negative

2/ in order to run it as USB digital source out, one will have to have a correct cables

3/ even a desktop DAC as my LKS004, using Amanero module, it is sucky, and it is ugly. I clearly prefer the Xmos U208 on the Dx200 itself. I can get into details if needed

4/ There really is no need to connect Dx200 as a Digital out source to your desktop DAC, it is just Ugh.....No...The Dx200 itself is already on a pretty high quality performer even if you are using line out from any of it amp modules

5/ the only thing worthy is connecting Dx200 via SPDIF out into your Desktop DAC which is limited at DOP64x or 192Khz PCM. It can be deemed as a very high quality sources, and I can get into details if needed

**after all, I just want to say**, USB digital out feature on the Dx200 has always been a negative point about this player, which I don’t need, so I careless.

Another reason why I careless is because Dx200 can perform toes to toes with my desktop DAC, the upgraded LKS004 without issues. It has always been only slightly behind and not by the whole lot....certainly not worth the money and technical details that I invested in for it to be that much. DX200Titanium can totally replace my sources with only a slight compromises

Tone quality adjustment of AMP 1 is over.
We made a capacitor of 470 uF x 2 (OS - CON and Nchicon) at the hearing.
I attached TDK noise suppression sheet to all ICs.
The sound field expanded and it became sound close to mod AMP 7, AMP 8.
I am glad that it is no longer necessary to bring out a lot of AMP for sound check:grin:

I adjusted the number of images to the order of Twister 6 Reviews page.

1. Nichicon 470 uF Remove the orange Siemens 220uF and replace it with a silver Nichicon 470uF.
2.1uF MLCC The blue color of the image is made by TDK which was in part BOX. KEMET on the Reviews page is yellow.
3. TK-Sheet I pasted it on IC and Inductors. Also on the back side.
4. NIPPON CHEMI-CON KZH 100uF.

Do you have the mouser link fot that blue mlcc or other alternatives mlcc, Since the orange kemet is out of stock

Thanks Legabian34
I tried as well more than 4 times but there was no update option
so I deleted the file and I use the dx200 with the official firmware 1.01.006
with the dx90 never had problems updating or flashin a new custom firmware
with the dx200 everything was also +-ok till they presented the new android O
i admit you can do a lot with but I bought the dx200 because i want to listen to music and not cook spaghetti, have sex and check my messages
i have a kitchen a wife a phone and a pc for.

To Paul@ibasso, I want a new dx200special music player/cooking wonder that we can also use as walkie talkie and dildo
i know i ask much but you almost got it with the dx200

also
if people of ibasso.com are good/clever engineers why do we need people like
Don't you know how many problems Apple iPhone and Google Pixel users experience, down to inability to use the devices? Nothing similar with iBasso DAPs! Also, for DX200, my firmware builds were downloaded less than 2000 times at the maximum, meaning, most of customers are happy with official firmware
