I was posting in dx150 thread about DX200...

Anyways, the DX200 is using ECHU multi layer filmed capacitors. This is the newest technology for Dedicated Audio capacitors, and these are very expensive, normally only used in high-end equipments. Here we have them inside DX200 :D....beside those top of the line Oscilliators

So, to think that it was released back in 2017 and sub $1,000....that was insane. Even at the moment, it is still one of the Top DAP that is hardly any competitions

Don’t pay attentions to the 2 black caps, they are EX modifications. They are also the newest Capacitors :D

I think i will do this upgrade to Oreo, now my version is Android 6.0.1. I was scared to upgrade because I read the gripes about the sound.
But I want to jump into Oreo like all of you. I will lose everything in the internal storage right?

Same here. I am not good at upgrading to Android 8.1 and Lurker0’s add-on. Therefore, I am still using the old FW and don’t want erase all the internal storage I have spent too much time to download from the specific streaming website. :anguished:

Why not backup your files to your desktop or any hard drive so you can just transfer it anytime or after upgrading!

A new Firmware is now available from our site. FW 1.05 for Android 8.1. If you have updated to 8.1 this is a SD loaded firmware with no need for the Batch Tool. Enjoy, and Enjoy the Music!

Improvements with this firmware:
1. Rectified the bug that sometimes when SPDIF used to output DSD64 via DoP, there is background noise.
2. Rectified the bug that sometimes when digital output is used, there is no signal output.
3. Rectified the bug that sometimes when a third party player APP is used, there is warning window that pops up. (Android OS)
4. Rectified the bug that some music's ID3 are displayed twice. (Android OS)
5. Now allows third party streaming APPs to use the SD card Android/Data folder. (Android OS)
6. Option to format the SD card as internal memory has been deleted. (Android OS)
7. Now allows volume adjustment when the screen is off while in USB-DAC mode.(Android OS)
8. Rectified the bug that there is a chance that the play speed is doubled when used with a bluetooth device.(Android OS)
9. Rectified the bug that the first time a 24/96 or 24/192 music file is played after boot up, the play speed is incorrect.
10. Rectified the bug that when 24/48 was output via SPDIF, the play speed was doubled.
