Trying to flash DX150 files on DX200 for the lol. I didn't expect this to actually work. Sounds great. Sound Style option didn't work on DX200 though. I'm flashing DX150 ROM files NOT BOOT IMAGE so please don't try this at home. You may accidently brick your device. Regards, Keetakawee
I'm working on Fidelizer Purist ROM for DX150, My ROM mod has Play Store, tweaked Apollo app and other ROM tweaks to improve system and audio performance.
With AMP4, it sounded very good on the first listen and after 200 hours it only became even more so. Burn-in effect wasn't much.
I am listening now DX200 amp4s with your cable @kubig123 the PW05 4.4 x 4 pins which connects to JH Angie II. It initially sounds so good but it needs more breaking in. Very happy here and worth the wait.
Drumming up interest for your debloated, overpriced/unsubstantiated audio tweaks again, without supporting vendor rights again? C'mon leave this thread alone, it's very helpful so far, no need to spam it up. Did the mods ever unlock all your other rom threads lol. If folks need the play store, please stick with the lurker version.
Wow. I missed something. To avoid cluttering up the thread, does anyone want to PM me to explain? I'm almost afraid to ask, but I'll plow on through anyway. I know Lurker0's is amazeballs, but I know nothing of WindowsX or Fidelizer. Please keep this thread clear and PM me, whomever chooses to do so. Back on topic: Also, looks like my Amp4s arrived. I'm quite excited! I'm totally not going to burn it in first because I play it fast and I play it uh... well, tonight, it's going to be Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Gonna have a blast!
And please count me out too. I came to share that DX150 ROM files can be used with DX200 and only answer the questions why DX150 ROM has Play Store. I'm looking forward to see iBasso releasing DX200 updates after DX150. It's going to be great.
What's used: Same dx200, same firmware, same audio file, same IEM, same IEM cable. Only AMP4S in place of AMP4. First impressions of AMP4S: AMP4S is almost the same as AMP4 with a slight difference. I hear the punch of the bass a little more than what I did with AMP4. The guitar strings show a bit more sparkle in how it sounds???. Have to listen some more to confirm this. Compared to AMP4S, AMP4 seemed to be sticking more closer to reference. This is relative to AMP4 and AMP4S only. AMP4S sounds a little more musical. AMP4 seemed to have that little edge over AMP4S with that soundstage width. Let's see how much it remains the same and how much it changes after burn-in. But this one is certainly a keeper. No regrets getting it even while having AMP4.
