Can’t wait for London CanJam and try out the 150, who knows might even walk out with one if they have any for sale.
Be great to see @jamato8 & @Layman1 at the Ibasso table again. Really cool guys and great fun to be with. Not sure if they will be there, hope they are. Not forgetting Amy of course

Come over, your right, it’s an awesome show. Unfortunately the majority of people over here have never heard of a DAP let alone a headphone amp!! Most people just use cheap ear buds and a phone, which is fine for most of them. I don’t understand how some people will spend up to £1000 on a phone, subscribe to Spotify and then only spend £20 or maybe even £30 on some earbuds.
When you then let them listen to a DX200 with the IT03/01, the look of realisation dawns, it’s a beautiful moment. As my son and myself say “the penny drops”:L3000:

By the time the London show comes around the DX150 should be boxed and be selling :)

Better put in some more hours at work eh, was thinking of getting some full size headphones but now I might be getting both.
What makes the 150 attractive is you can use the same amps as the 200, that means more flavours

Absolutely. I'm telling you...it has the flavor of the DX100...not exactly, but closer than any of the other players have gotten...and I had them all.

Ibasso might take the best parts of Dx100 and DX200 to make DX150 (?). But I love the SQ of the flagship DX200.

Well, you don't really have to cancel your full size headphones plans  But, I'm afraid you might need to put in more overtime, man. DX200, DX150, IT04, and other stuff...

Anybody going in for AMP4 won't be disappointed at all. That will be the #1 amp card from ibasso for a long time followed very closely at #2 by AMP5. Has anybody paired Dx200 + AMP4 with UE18+ ?

I'm currently running it with CustomArt Harmony 8.2 CIEM. Fantastic pairing. Harmony 8.2 keeps growing on me more and more. Details, separation, very good soundstage width. average depth, very good quality bass and sub-bass. Very good highs with no harshness. One heck of a TOTL IEM. And DX200 brings out all the details and yet sounds musical without getting into dry, analytical space.

Are they almost ready, tried them out at last years CanJam  been wondering when they will be going on sale

I have no idea, probably soon?

Very soon for the SR1. There have been changes since last summer. The SR1 are lighter now, a silicon surround and more efficient. They are easy to drive from the DX200 and many daps with a decent power output. As an example on the AMP4 a normal listening volume would be 85 to 90 at high gain.
