I am bored with my library contents. So I am streaming YouTube contents, using provided USB C cables connecting to IPad Pro. Listening to Utopia out of amp3 and 2.5mm....

Holy shiiieeettt!!! Never enjoyed YouTube portable this way with such high end audio performances....i couldn't believe that such small device can do this

Nice one:)
I wish SP1000 can support the YouTube application, but more likely never.

I think he meant DX200 used as usb dac to hear from utube, right @Whitigir?

Mine couldn't connect as usb dac anymore. Don't know if it is the cable or not. Used to work before.
I tried my CDM and it works fine.

Yes, and I could install YouTube with APK Pure app. But little screen will defeat the purpose of streaming AV...LoL

You need to turn on DAC mode first before plugging in

I know what he meant:) both players can be used as USB DAC.
What i was saying is that i wished the other brand to allow to install other applications such as YouTube.
This is where DX200 is truly a winner.
Waiting patiently for news on copper and titanium versions.

The DX200 in standby will last about 1 week at the most. If you are getting much less than this please email me at paul@ibasso.com . Normally I turn the DX200 off when not in use to have as much of the battery left to use. For longer term storage it is a good rule of thumb to store the DX200 with around 80% left on the battery with the DX200 turned off.

Thanks for the confirmation. At least I know that my unit is not defective.

I am surprised that the dx200 does not seem to have a low power / sleep mode. As I said, my other DAPs have behaved differently. Earlier today, I woke up my FiiO x5 which has been sitting for months. It still had more than 50% charge.

In any case, I will be very careful to power down my dx200. Meanwhile, is there any chance of implementing a true sleep mode in a future firmware update?

I always use DX200 the same way as I use my smartphone. I don't turn off DX200 just keep it inactive like that because battery does last very long.

But nothing wrong if you want to turn it off after use.
