Anyone want 2.0.78 factory image? I can share my repacked ones since repacking system partition won't have some bluetooth services working.

Yes, please

Unpacked kernel and ramdisk image, replaced with factory image ones. Sadly, it didn't boot up. File size is the same and contents look similar. I wonder what I missed.

Paul, can you release 2.0 factory image, please? There's changes in kernel image that may need extra attention.

EDIT: NVM. I think I sorted it out now. :)

Same here, 24 Bit Flac files won't stream over Bluetooth - no issues with lower sampling rates. Bose Wireless Sport Earphones used.

However, please note that I had the same exact issue and DAP behavior with A&K DAPs, so it might as well be a bluetooth bandwidth issue? Idk but interested to hear others' experiences or knowledge here!

Onkyo DP-X1 plays 24Bits file over bluetooth just fine.

Sorry for those who haven't been following this thread thoroughly. What is the difference with iBasso's DL version of 2.0.78 and your "factory image" ones?

This ones is for development purposes for people who want to cook their own ROM. You can mod this ROM and re-flash it without losing kernel updates or having bugs like provided older factory image.

Latest firmware doesn't have Google Play Store installed yet. I saw they attempted to but it's not done yet.

Recently tried 2.0.78 (not yet tried WindowsX version), touching is more reponsive but tend to be too sensitive now.
No great bug met yet.

Hope touch sensitivity is a little bit softer

Anyway, thanks for such a great response to customers, Paul :)

DX200 Purist ROM version 2.0.78 is out now with the follow features:

-Play Store added
-Apollo - Fidelity Edition from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/apollo-music-player-fidelity-edition-t3038629 included
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance
-audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)
-bundled audio effects removed (Poweramp works now)

Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/f22r1x7y4cib97b/DX200-2.0.78-WindowsX-Purist.zip

Installation Guide

0. Flash Official FW 2.0.78 first
1. Download Factory Tool provided by Paul http://www.ibasso.com/uploadfiles/download/FactoryTool_v1.39_DX200.zip
2. Turn off DX200
3. Connect DX200 with USB connection to computer while holding play button switch
4. Install Rockchip USB driver included in FactoryTool
5. Open FactoryTool.exe and flash ROM according to instructions provided in DX200 batch tool instruction.doc

Since many people asked for Gaplass and fixing Poweramp stuff, I decided to lower the bar for people who want it. This is 'hardly' Purist but that's as far as I can do to keep up with compatibility request. True purist ROM will have the following features:

1. audio effect engine removed completely
2. Equalizer/Gaplass/ffmpeg components removed from core audio engine
3. I/O optimizations will be optimized for lowest possible latency with stable sonic performance

That's what true purist looks like and it'll still be available for customers who purchased Advanced ROM from me together with compatibility version.

And million thanks to Paul for answering our prayers. I also have DX200 modification service (ROM and hardware modification) for people who're interested in taking this to the further levels. :)

Regards,
Keetakawee
