Yes, it is unusual but technically speaking, it is the best configurations. Music reproductions for iems and or headphones always interest me. The reason why they opt for this way Is because BA is better for the upper low-mid range rather than high frequencies as people has been mislead into. Then the limitations is that sub-bass isn’t too well performed with BA. Therefore Sony went with this configuration in Z1R. I don’t know what they marketing with but the ideal configurations for any good BA would be that the BA is upper low and full mid range. Sub bass and high frequencies are better jobs for dynamic

After i heard sony z1r headphone which is a complete disaster in my opinion horrible tuning. Extreamly priced. I found that this hp. Is not for audiophiles i don't know what the hell sony was thinking. They may use best top the line parts but if it has a bad tuning sorru il pass. Cause of that i dont trust sonys hp no more.
And dd drivers is not the best for bass. Its good for boom boom crap but not for exuisit ultra detailed one though. Also sony like making bass way to boomy and high.

I am too impatient waiting for Ibasso to release type C audio grade usb cables. I have just ordered with Moon-Audio. This will complete my Dx200Ti configurations .

On another note, I did make a mistake of reviewing Dx200 without using IEMS. As the result, I sold my Dx200 detailed that it has no problems....but it hiss with some people IEMS. My apologies that I did not foresee this. But then again, I am only an enthusiast and Not sponsored Reviewer where I can get items sponsored and test out everything for you guys. But you know that you will always get the honest impressions from me and what I can afford to do

I can confirm you that even my se846 hass floor noise with amp4s. But not as loud as phantom. Hd800s has 0 of that floor noise.
But seriously guys. I ab dx200 and my hdv820. Man dx200 is not a match at all.
First 0 floore noise cosmic black
2 more extension and goes like so far that i hear it fade away below the wisper lvl db
3massive sound
4more bass.
5slightly more details, textures and layering
6 i can hear echoing in recording s.

None of that in dx200 vs hdv820

I feel like mine is quiet loud enouf to be anoying?

After couple days of listening to the bespoke Ares II 8 wire 4.4 paired with Spartans and DX200TI/amp4s and I just try to listen with DX200TI/amp8 to be honest Ares II 8wire might match well DX200TI/amp4s (have not done with amp8 yet!) with thick and rich sweetest vocals especially the huge soundstage with lots of details and separation of music instruments...sub bass and deep bass are there too. Oh man! I wish I have CIEM Phantoms right now...

After couple days of listening to the bespoke Ares II 8 wire 4.4 paired with Spartans and DX200TI/amp4s and I just try to listen with DX200TI/amp8 to be honest Ares II 8wire might match well DX200TI/amp4s (have not done with amp8 yet!) with thick and rich sweetest vocals especially the huge soundstage with lots of details and separation of music instruments...sub bass and deep bass are there too. Oh man! I wish I have CIEM Phantoms right now...

You think it matches better with amp4s better than amp8? I though amp8 had more bass and warmer sounding.

I have not yet tried DX200TI with amp8 since I am enjoying the sound of amp4s right now.
Absolutely no floor noises at all! It is dead quiet...

Ihave noise that is quoet loud with phantom
My shure se846 does the floir noise but not loud to be a problem
Hd800s dont catch it at all 0 issues

Its like a white noise its low bur very audible quiet frankly.
Bothe amp1 and amp4s do it with phantom.

And on my desktop i get no noise at all same gear

That's not normal. I've used the Phantom on Amp 1, 3, 4, and 8 - no noise on any of them. Contact Paul.
