Me too. I have an AKG K3003 and Ether C flow both with a 3.5 mm. I can not disconnect the cable from the K3003, so I'm stuck on an amp 5 or amp 7. can someone give me advice on which to take?

Amp7 of course :)

It is very interesting. I don’t exactly know how the 3.5Pro is working out. But it seems to me that there is a Large Sleeve that only fit with balanced 3.5mm style. As long as it is shorted out by a chip inside, it will then turn on the balanced circuitry. Otherwise, it returns to standard 3.5mm. If this is the case, I wonder what about those 3.5mm with the same large sleeve ?

Interesting to see how the market is playing out. Anyways, I know why and love the 4.4mm balanced out as a standard for the world

I thought 3.5Pro has an identical wiring to HifiMAN 3.5mm TRRS, an old strandard which never really took off? Maybe they modified it with another ground or something? I guess the red ring is used to distinguish it from a regular 3.5mm port.
