Ibasso has to milk them a little more about 5/7 more amp modules to milk some more
There is no milking it, I pity those who can’t change their flavor but gotta stick to
To my ears I am not very impressive with amp8 as I am with amp4s which has so lovely sweet sound (vocals) and its midrange to die for...
i agree with this statement, not only vocal but mid too, especially string instruments are very special

I found myself going back to AMP4s more due to the lesser EMI and noise interference. able to enjoy music more that way...

@fuhransahis : Me too~ waiting for desktop sized amp module. DX200 battery is too short for full DSD album tracks..

Use this and stack on with your DX200

@NaiveSound
or let your kid play games in the car with food on their hands.
With an official review as farcical as that you've been appointed my new favorite band/protest leader around these parts

I never used glues LOL! Or actually, I definitely used glues to put my Stax KG-T2 Amps together, and my desktop build :D

Anyways, back on topic, if you want something transportable in desktop size. Buy the Sony DMP-Z1. IMO, whatever the Dx200 can do, it already exceeds many other DAP, and easily approach desktop system

To be fair, even at the more comparable DX150 vs Hiby R6 I would still take the iBasso.

Hm... there, DX150 is pretty warm ex-factory, where R6 is more neutral by its nature, I would keep this in mind when choosing between the two :)

DX200 is fairly neutral which is great for a DAP though :)

Surprised you are still in this thread :p after you just posted 1-star review of DX200 saying how horrible it sounds and how much you can't stand it...
As if the joke of a 'review' (which I give one star lol) wasn't bad enough in its own right, the thinly-veiled racism in it really is the icing on the cake..:cold_sweat:
Don't get me wrong, I welcome constructive criticism and feedback; the DX200 has a few flaws no doubt, but I still consider it an excellent DAP overall.
Each to his own, but respect and consideration for the feelings of others should be the foundation :)

Does anyone experience bug listening to 352kHz music file (16bit/24bit: flac, wav, aiff) using Neutron or Mango Music Player under Lurker0's latest ROM?
My DX200 can play the 352kHz file for nearly 30 seconds then the sound turned to pure noise where pausing and playing the track again won't recover the playback.
I have to stop the music till I hear some static noise (which is common on my DX200 when I stop playing music for a while).
Then, the music can be played again but the issue appears every single time.
PS I haven't tried to play DXD on my DX200 before until recently I have just put some samples to my player.:triportsad:

I feel like this is more of an assertion of AMP1 vs AMP6 as opposed to the DAPs.
I would agree. It depends upon the amp used also. That is the nice thing about the 200 or DX150, so many good choices of amps.
