Yes Furutech makes some awesome connectors. They are my favorite hands down. They are just really expensive. One thing, you may need spacers to work correctly with the DX200.

I use the Furutech but not with the carbon fiber housing, see no need for it or the extra expense. I use Furutech for RCAs, 2.5, 3.5, 4.4 and 1/4 plugs.

I agree, it cost more and doesn’t do anything at all

I think the Rhodium plating and the alloy Furutech uses makes a difference. Whether you like that difference is another story....

Oh yeah, I totally love Furutech. Their plugs and the technology they used on them are awesome....except pricing and counterfeit problems....LOL

The plug on the carbon fiber housing or the full metal is the same material in either one. I prefer the looks of the metal housing as well over the carbon fiber shell. Also, carbon fiber shells are pretty cheap to make so I would think they would charge less for the carbon fiber model.

Agreed. Cost is insane for what you get. But hey were audiophiles looking for the best so why not buy the best....
