So...should the volume remain the same across all apps? I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem (spontaneous ear-bleed volume levels), which I managed to fix, but now I notice that the volume changes levels when I open different apps. Additionally, the volume listed at the very top of the screen doesn't match the volume level inside Neutron, for example. WTH?

This is DX208TI-EX on cooling mode.

Simply having it lay onto of the heatsink to playback dsd512

I did the same thing with a slightly different block, thinner and more numerous fins. I also used some thermal pad material to fill in the gap.

It depends, but DSD512 on battery alone should last for 4-5 hours

4-5 hours is about right. But with a long album, say, David Gimour Rattle That Lock it can use 25% of the battery. I don't really like to run it down to 0% before I charge it either. So three albums like that and time to charge it.

I misplaced the original straight adapter a day or two before this one arrived. Still looking for it.

I've tested both the original and the new CA04 and find there is no difference in sound.
