I do, yes...I do listen through stuff to compare modified vs stock. Amp8-EX in comparison to Amp8

Needless to say, Amp8 stock is always in the box or staying out for pictures, and only listening for comparison. Testing and comparison between soundstages, balances, dynamic, transient attack and timbres accuracy

Is anyone else using Fidelizer Advanced Purist ROM (v1.01.006) plus Lurker add-on v13 missing the option for System Update under Settings > System > About Tablet? I can't find a way to do the upgrade to stock Oreo 1.05.036 using OTA method.

I've also tried using Search Settings, and while there is a result for "System Upgrade" when I search, clicking it brings me back to the main System settings page, with no way to start the update process. I have tried a restart and re-enabled google services from within Lurker add-on but no luck. I guess I could flash back to v1.01.006 stock using Factory Tool, then do the OTA update to v1.05.036. Just wondering if there is a simpler way.

Thanks!

I think if you go one page back from about tablet you might find the system upgrade thing. That's how it was on mine.

I hope that you are using Perforated pads too ? :D

Yes! They sent me the perforated pads with the unit and the IT01s. Fantastic!

I informed to fidelizer and he found the root cause and promise to fix in the next fw. For this time, flash stock 1.006 first and upgrade to 5.036 accordingly and you know next process already. :)

Thank you, this worked perfectly and I'm back up and running enjoying some excellent sounding music!

Embarrassed look

I misplaced the original straight adapter a day or two before this one arrived. Still looking for it.

Nothing to be embarrassed about Damon, did you check inside the pie? :p
