Sorry, but I had to release 2.9.209-L1. The changes are:
  • Problem resolved: Mango can't play DSD in 2.9.209-L0.
  • Problem reported as resolved: those "cracks and pops" while track changing in Tidal, Spotify etc. Same solution as in 2.9.198-L1 back again.
Thank you so much, Lurker. The new release works perfectly and eventually the crack and pop noises have almost dissapeared completely. Good job!!!!

Echoing the thanks on the cracks & pops fix in 2.9.209-L1. It makes using Tidal more pleasant!

Soon Tidal will be absolute silence!

What do you mean by "eventually" & "almost disappeared"? It's either gone or it's not. And it wouldn't happen gradually over time.

I've been using Lurker's firmware for a while now. An issue I continually encounter is youtube videos freezing. Whenever these occur the audio still plays even though the video is frozen. On these ocassions I have closed the video then reopened, but more often than not the same problem will happen again. This doesnt seem to happen for every video, but will happen more often than not. Has anyone else experienced this?

I updated to the latest firmware a few days ago, but I'm still seeing the same problem.

This doesnt seem to happen for every video
In my tests, it happens to HD videos only.
On these ocassions I have closed the video then reopened
Sometimes it's enough to turn display off, then on, and continue playback.

I have no idea how to fix it, and what the cause of it.

Thanks for info. I think most of the videos I watch must be HD then.
Will try switching off the display next time.

I mean that this issue was supposed to be solved with the last version of Lurker’s firmware, but I don’t know why I was still having it with Tidal.

With this new version the crack and pop annoying noises have almost disappeared completely. I haven’t used it for a long time yet, but in certain circumstances I’ve been able to hear some of these noises, but not as loud and not as often than with the previous version.

Here's that adapter we were talking about. It's fantastic!

I can tell no difference between the iBasso one and this one. I do like that it's flexible.
