Guys... I'm experiencing something weird with my dx200 and not sure if any of you have encountered this.

Everytime I switch amp, the device will not switch on indicating a drained in battery. It will not boot up until there's sufficient battery power being charged.

Any idea how to solve this problem?
Are you turning the DX200 off when you change the AMP? You should turn off the DX200 when changing.

Yup. Switched off device. Take out amp to test another amp. Not able to switch back on until recharged.
Please try it with it hooked up to the charger. Also try a factory reset and please make sure you are on the latest firmware.

I have been able to compare them both. The SP1000 is not better, different but IMO, not better. I use primarily AMP5 and AMP4. When people compare they need to mention what amps they are using on the DX200. AMP3 is no slouch so there are 3 amps I like with the DX200 that take it to the top.
AND DX200 is just 1/3rd of it's price. And with all the excellent AMP module options, I say it beats the crap out of the AK:)

I tried removing the amp while charging with device off. No problem.
I then remove the charging cable then reinsert the amp, battery goes back flat.
I have the latest firmware. Yet to do a factory reset though.

Please advise.

Have you tried leaving the charging cable in place and putting the amp back on?

Hi, I just bought the DX200, am using the latest firmware V2.8.198. I tried using westone w40, um pro 50. I get pop sounds when switching between DSD and FLAC tracks with low gain, SE. It is noticeable, this would be normal behavior?

I also tested with AKG N40, and pop sounds are not noticeable.

How the Amp5 compare with Amp1 for already warm and smooth IEMS (like Xelento or Rhapsodio Solar)? I'm still deciding if you to get the Amp5 but I would not like to lose instrument separation and treble. I preferred the sound of Amp1 to Amp2 for example (always 3.5 port). Thanks :)

I thinik AMP5 is better in every direction, including treble sparkle and soundstage / instrument separation. :dt880smile:

Thanks George.I just ordered the Amp5, curious to try it and compare it with Amp1 :) From what I read soundstage is wider for Amp5 compared to Amp1?

Hi Guys, sorry to repeat my request but I really could do with some help to get Qobuz on my 200
I did it for Tidal as someone sent me a link for the APK mirror app.
I am having issues with Tidal on my home rig and I think i will go for the Sublime sub on Qobuz as also offers excellent discounts on downloads.
However since getting the DX200 I use this way more than my home rig as its so much less hassle so getting Qobuz on it is a must. If I cant I am stuck with Tidal.
I am not that good with technical stuff but I got the Tidal app on with no issues. Is it as easy with Qobuz?
Any help would be appreciated
