Dunu DN-1000 - Dunu's hybrid IEM - Impressions thread

Hmm well according to the internet TF10 weights 0.6 ounces (approx 17 grams).
Minus the weight of the cable, and half that figure and you'll get your answer
I'm guessing somewhere around 7.5 grams if not lower... yay maths!

Going from memory having owned TF10 x3 times, I would guess the Dunu are heavier, plus the metal housing makes it appear heavier straight away. I guess for those experiencing any weight issue wearing over the ear should ease some pressure.

I might need to pick up another pair of DN-1000, my cable just won't come good.

The soloution worked for a week but ended up going back how it was.

The TF10s may be "lighter" but the way they stick out puts (for me) way more pressure on my ears.  I find the Dunus much easier to wear (and I have the cables going straight down, where I had the TF10s going over my ears).  To each their own.

Are there any recommended mods for these?

Thanks.

Hope you enjoy the Scott! :)

Be sure to give the tips and spacers a fair try as they're rather tuneable.

That was another draw for me, so.many options there. Has anyone tried the triflage tips?

I have tried the flange and I prefer the foam tips. Normally I use flange tips on my iems but for the dunu I just preferred the foam tips. It is all on preference though. The foam tips gave a better seal in my opinion.

It's been a while since I have bough new headphones of any kinds, so I am excited to play around with this one, especially with all the tip and depth options. Coming from the Westone 3's it should an interesting change.
