Whelp! Hope those SS tips work for you then! Not sure if SpinFit has SS sized tips (don't seem to recall their having any).

Spingfit CP360 have a SS. Only line that does.

Have the AZLA SS coming and the Comply Isolation ones that taper down to small, so hopefully!

The housing is a good size and fits nicely, just need to sort the tips.

And they sound excellent for a $500 (AUD) IEM. Nice work

My unit arrived today. From an initial impression, what a capable understated beauty! Take a bow, Dunu!

How long does the DD take to burn-in/settle?

Dunu dynamic drivers are known to take a good burn time, but 200 hours should suffice. My old Falcon C never stopped improving haha, every time I put them on they would draw a smile on my face. The dk2001, compared to the Falcon C, is a technical beast, from the outset it already has superior bass extension and admirable impact and control. I have the dk2001 five months ago and they keep surprising me, the more you listen, the more they captivate you.

Thanks for the insight, JuanLuis91. I look forward to listening to music on the dk2001 all along the way. :)

AZLA Sedna SS came. Larger than the "already a touch too big" tips I was using, some left overs from a cheap pair a long time ago, as they were smaller than the smallest tips that came with the unit. These SS honestly look as big as the regular smaller tips in the box.

Dis-appointing.

Not sure where to try now...

The DK-2001 sounds sublime, But, I find that my right ear (concha) starts giving me pressure pain. I have tried changing the clockwise/counterclockwise position of the right side, but that results in ear canal pain. Any suggestions on how to improve my comfort using the DK-2001?

As I am working on my DK-2001 review, I must say the more time I spend with it, the more I am impressed by the value for money. This review is a joy to work on, and I don't feel like I am cheated when I go from my TOTL customs to those little babies and this in itself speaks volumes!

The tuning is so mature, clearly the product of all those years building and tuning hybrids with the 3001, 4001 and 3001 Pro. The DK-2001 is a great all rounder that can do well with all genres, both with a high fun factor and technical proficiency and at this price point is part of a very very select list of IEMs.

I am waiting on Lotoo PAW S1 eagerly to match it with the DK-2001, in the meantime I get the full blown experience with the LPGT and the more "logical" pairing with AAW Capri DAC/amp lightning cable.

Stay tuned, review is coming soon :)

Have you tried the 3001 Pro? Which do you prefer between them?

Have you tried the 3001 Pro? Which do you prefer between them?

I have also been able to listen to the dk3001pro a couple of months ago and have had the dk2001 with me since last Christmas. The 3001pro is more linear in its presentation, all frequencies are handled at the same level, it is a very balanced sound. It shares the same full body with the dk2001, but the 3001pro sounds a little more transparent and controlled across the entire frequency range. The dk2001 is more enthusiastic, hits harder, and a little brighter but at the same time it maintains a high level of refinement, resolving details with ease and has outstanding instrument separation.

Personally, if I want excitement, I definitely stick with the dk2001. On the other hand, with the 3001pro the listening is more analytical, but at the same time very refined, it is a very pleasant type of tuning that does not cause fatigue.

And here is my review of DK-2001 : https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/dunu-dk-2001.24085/reviews#item-review-23758

In a nutshell :
"If you're looking for a highly engaging IEM featuring a balanced and smooth signature with a great deal of fun in all the right places and a very rare level of refinement at this price point then look no further, the DK-2001 is in my opinion a gem and a steal at its price! It clearly shows the mastery of a manufacturer that has gained superb insight from developing a hybrid lineup for quite some time now."
