Althoug I personally don't like the housing myself (prefer something like Westone), the 2002 were actually pretty comfortable over ears for me. Never really used the ear guides myself when I had the 2000 anyway.

2 minutes and a razor blade and will work like a charm! Its just a guide to know tve orientation of the iem cut them off my sony h3's too but even if you are scared of a plastic tab then all you have to do is a quick google search, there are cables and just plugs to make your own cables that have the correct tab you are referring to! Imo, cut that sucker off!!!! Why limit yourself???

Dunu is actually adopting the new Sony connector. So I guess any new Sony accessories will work just fine.

For those concerned of the sony style mmcx heres a place found with google in about 20 seconds that have the correct plugs! http://www.buyitmao.com/products/44142986962 Just so you are aware these plugs and cables are out there without being limited to just sony stuff!

it may show that in the picture but that picture is NOT the end product so take it with a grain of salt, dunu is saying they are adopting the same plug stule as sony and if gbat is the case then they will be on the opposite side when they come to market i think any insinuations at this pount are mute unril thd product comes to market as anything else but the real deal would be purely speculation and in my book to speculate is like an opinion every body has one!

For me i will cut that stupid thing off if its on there when i buy them!

Been using the  dn1000 since some time now and didnt see a better valued IEM since i got them last year., DN 2002 seems a better upgrade

The Dunu rep above said the DN-2002 was delayed until May.

I asked jokingly/serious if during the delay if it was feasible to upgrade the plastic cap to stainless steel and they just responded with, "that's right."

I hope they upgrade the cap. On the other hand I may not even be able to buy it now. Damn bills...

Yes I can say DN-2002 definitely would better than DN-1000, 4 drivers better than 3, right 

 
We have some advance orders but we may only make shipment on end of April, so it's available to buy on May.
Oh yes, Japan launched early on 25 Apr.
