Yeah. Fidue Audio is also releasing an IEM this year. A 4BA+1DD IEM. Which will compete with the DK-4001.

Oh yaa yaa yaa... the Fidue Sirius... bcos they so serious about their work. So many blockbuster releases.

DK4001 will be the shining star of Dunu. Please take your time perfecting it.

(I'll need the time to save up too!)

I'm honestly curious what you (and others) will think of DK4001. I think it's ground-breaking for DUNU, as have the few others I've shared it with who've heard DUNU IEM before.

Heard it once in Canjam in February. My notes were huge stage, great bass, mids and treble. Wish for more coherence. But yes great potential.

What are your thoughts regarding the DK-4001 prototype vs. FLC8s, Nik?

Of course you'd ask after I sent it away, Chris :p

From memory, it's got more tighter bass with more impact, leaner mids, and good detail with less tendency towards sibilance. At first, I felt it was a bit too precise. Not necessary analytical, but a bit too tight and not as organic as I'm used to, but with a bit more time I found it was just different and grew to really like them a lot. The one thing I'll say is that (for my ears), FLC8S is more ergonomic. DK3/4001 have a raised protrusion that can cause a hot spot in my ear. Obviously DUNU tested these out and had positive feedback on sound and fit, so I may just be an outlier...

Surprisingly we now found DN-2002 MMCX upgrade cable sold in China, 8 cores single silver mixed 1% gold wire, the user said it offers a huge soundstage with extremely balanced sound signature. Retail price is around US$215

That is curious, gold > All

Actually no it's not.  the only reason it's used as plating on connectors is because of its resistance to corrosion and won't react to air (which both silver and copper do - tarnishing / oxidising).  Gold has lower conductivity than both silver and copper, and higher impedance.  So for cables - as long as you can cover correctly - your best conductors would be silver or copper.

Thanks your input, actually I'm looking for nocturnal audio Sirius hybrid with gold wires.
But can't confirm that well.
Anyway very appropriated

DUNU attended P.A.S 2016 (Portable Audio Show) at Vietnam together with SpinFit, we'd like to collect more feedback of DK-3001 and DK-4001 from more people from different countries before they launched.
