Recently I have gotten into (Dubstep/Electronic) music production at home, but my headphones were not cutting it.
I own a BROKEN Skullcandy S6HEDZ-058 Hesh Over-Ear Headphone. (Yes, I understand that Skullcandys are terrible, but I got it for christmas... Who wouldn't use free stuff?)
They were uncomfortable as heck, bass was too muddy, and sound quality overall was not good.
Producing with those were just terrible, and I just ended up using my Bose speakers more than my headphones.
To cut to the point, I am looking into a new pair of cans, Over-ear and under $50. (Tight budget, going to college)
I've looked into many of them, and I ended up with two options...
The Sennheiser HD 205 ($54) and the Audio Technica ATH M30 ($38)
Would it be smart to pay the extra for the Sennheiser or go for the Comfort/Price of the Audio Technica?
Also, if there are better headphones, that sound MUCH better, I would be happy to know.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
