Dual RCA to 3.5mm interconnect

I just bought an Acoustic Research's dual RCA to 3.5mm interconnect and noticed on the cable that there is an arrow showing signal path flow from the 3.5mm to the RCAs. If I used this cable in reverse direction, to connect between my DAC (RCA out) to my HP amp (3.5mm in), would it be any problem?

Anyone know why the manufacturer have to indicate the signal path direction on the cable?

I suspect it must be there for some reasons.

The only two possible reasons are:
1. That the shield is attached to ground only at the 3.5mm end. This is so any RF will stay in the shield or drain to ground at the source end. Unless you have a lot of RFI, this shouldn't make much difference.
2. The manufacturer is indicating that the grain structure of the wire is directional. This would be ridiculous unless you're talking about a mega buck cable. Even then the merits are debatable.
