Hi, I was just thinking of buying this setup?
Does it synegize well?
Will it be good for jazz, electronica and sometimes rock/blues?

Which DT880 are you looking at? The 600 ohm?

My first HP after joining H-F was the 2003 DT-880(250 Ohm). After researching amps, my choice was a WA3. I used this combo for over 2 years but sold the 880 a few months ago. I still use my WA3 frequently.

I could listen to almost anything with the 880 but jazz and classical worked best. I loved the airy treble and deep but not overdone bass. The recessed midrange always bugged me when comparing to my HD 650. The comfort with 880 was awesome but I grew tired of their sound...but don't get me wrong, I still think they're a very respectable HP.
