I'm sure the question has been asked before, but after an hour or so of searching and finding questions close, I most ask what the best sub ~200 dollar amp is for the Beyer DT770. I'm currently running a Total Airhead with it, and it sounds great. And without the amp it sounds great too...That's the problem...for a $200 amp I want something that will really do something. I'm sure I can pick up some decent cash for the Total Airhead, so I'm looking in the ~200 range.

I've read great reviews of amps, but I love the 770's enough that I need an idea of what is great for them, not in general...I feel I'm going to have these things for a while....

On a seperate note, I post every once in a while in the forum but it sure is great.

Contact JMT......he built me a portable META42 that drives the DT-770s very well. He also has the DT-770s, so he can assist you in designing an amp that will meet your needs. BTW....any of the amps that JMT has built for me sounds better, to my ears, than the TA.
Hope this helps.
