I've been reading that a nice pair of cans for some bass would be the dt770s. I've also been reading that to properly use these I'd need a decent amp (80ohm version).
Currently I have an EMU0404usb playing FLAC/MP3 from my PC with some HD595s. I want to get a set of cans for more bassy music - trance/d&b/etc. (Damn this website...my bill is already racking up! lol)
I haven't really decided on an amp yet but my main question is would I be able to easily be able to use my PC as my primary source along with the EMU0404 + an AMP? I assume I could go from headphones > amp > emu > PC correct?
I realize the emu0404 has an amp but I haven't seen much about its ability to drive something like dt770s, at least bass wise. I've been looking at the Corda Move and HeadRoom Micro Amps.
Suggestions and slaps in the face for dumb questions are appreciated!
