hey, so i currently have dt 990 pro 250ohm and fiio e10 and i love the sound, but unfortunately the headband on dt 990 pro is uncomfortable for me and it pushes into my skull, and it looks like that dt 990 premium have better headband right ? So if you compare dt 990 pro 250ohm + fiio e10 vs dt 990 32ohm premium + onboard soundcard, will i hear any difference ? Thank you

I found that the 32 ohm version needed amping as much as the 250 and 600 versions. Just my ears, but they all benefitted from amplification. I was on the E09k, for whatever that's worth.

oh :/ ok.. well do you know any alternatives to dt 990 ? Settup (headphone and amp) for around 300$

If you like the sound signature, why not just stick with the DT 990 and try to find a cheap, used premium model @ 250 ohms?  Interestingly enough, Amazon's picture of the DT 990 600 ohm appears to have the PRO headband...

Maybe they're transitioning the line to that headband - and perhaps PRO style clamp - to the Premium line?

I've had good luck with buying used both on Head-Fi and on Amazon Warehouse.  With the latter, you'll still have the luxury of a 30-day return window (no questions asked, full refund).  But it is your money, good luck!
