I take it this is the older version?  It's straight from the U.S. distributor so everything should be cool.  I think I just found my new "beater" headphones

I would guess the picture on the eBay page is just the generic one they use for all DT-770s they sell.
As Beyerdynamic offers a 2 year warranty on headphones, I would think these refurbished ones would not be more then two years old.
As someone would not send to Beyerdynamic any broken headphones for warranty repair/replacement if more then two years old.
Might email them and ask what kind of warranty they offer with their refurb headphones.

i bought a pair early this moring.
i emailed them last night to check the physical condition
and set the alarm for 8 am got up read the email and purchased.
Great friggin price.
im gonna mod em.  ive alread owned them a year ago but that price man.  that price

dudes gonna flip 8 pairs of 770s in less than 24 hours lol
 
hell i shoulda bought all 8 and marked em up to 115 + shipping and made 200 bucks

i can also verify that this IS beyers american distributor.  I've emailed them before about replacemnt parts and stuff and the correspondence all came from @beyerdynamic-usa.com

Whoops my bad, it looks like those are actually the 80ohm model as well, but with 1/4" plug.
 
They mislabeled the resistance in the item description paragraph:
