I've decided to go with the DT 770 250 ohms head phones but I don't know what Amp/Dac setup to go with. I read that the O2+ODac is pretty good for a desktop setup. I'm wondering if they compliment the headphones nicely or I can turn somewhere else for something better.

For something cheaper ($200+tax/shipping) there is the Schiit Modi DAC (optical or USB) with Schiit Magni amp.

Oh sweet, I could get it sooner then. Would I need any special drivers if I go with your build? And by optic, is it SPDIF? (Flaunting my noob powers now)

Optical and coaxial are both S/PDIF.
There are special VIA 32-bit/384k drivers for the Audio-GD units USB interface.
But in general you will need any special drivers.
