DSD64/128 Volume Issue?

I have quite a few DSD albums and they all have two things in common: they sound amazing, and they all seem much quieter than any FLAC files I compare them to. I listen through Foobar2000 with a Modi 2 Uber/Magni 2. Foobar is set to output bitperfect through WASAPI DoP. For some reason I have to turn the volume knob on the Magni 2 from 11 to 1 o'clock just to match volume with my FLAC music. Any idea why this happens? I'm getting a Jotunheim for some balanced fun so maybe it's a Modi 2 thing? It's not the end of the world and it doesn't bother me much, I was just hoping somebody has at least an explanation! I am not sure why but I realizes that DSD has lower volume and it goes for every dsd song I tried. I just turn knob a bit to match the sound and personally it doesn't really bothers me.
