Hello,
When I started 3 or so years ago, you often had products that were different from the house products.
For example the Fostex Tr x00 series or the Sennheiser headphones.
As well as some amplifiers that were optimised by your hand.
Why is this no longer done today?
The other question is also how does your He5xx differ from the series headphones from Hifiman?
Would be very nice if you could give a little explanation.

I totally wonder who on earth besides the exception is persuaded by $20 off. Is it like statistical fact these type of tiny discounts make a significant number of new owners?
I would answer the question with a question:

Does a woman save $1,000,000 by buying $2,000,000 dollars worth of shoes at a 50% off sale? Probably there is a similar issue with headphones. Sure, us men are not affected by silly nonsense. But, we can explain to the significant other that we saved 20 bucks on the second pair. Don't tell me that isn't worth anything

Probably. If the person was already seriously contemplating the headphone, $20 may be worth jumping into buying. I would be shocked if a modest incentive produced a significant uptick in sales, but it may convince a few fence-sitters to jump off and buy.

You know, when women buy shoes or handbags, it's very different from when we men buy headphones or amplifiers.
We also think when something is lowered that we are saving something. :xf_cool:

The Monotlih Liquid Platinum would be a good example of how much displeasure it caused.
Everyone thought they were saving money, which is true.
The other side was that it didn't count :).

20$ is nothing for me if I still had to have it brought to Europe.

I agree completely. When's the last time a women sold her shoes or handbag?

I hear you on that. After getting railroaded a few times I gave up on trying to import anything.
