This is probably well-worn territory in these forums but I've yet to find a definitive answer: Is my Chord Mojo powerful enough to comfortably drive the Argon Mk3's I just ordered? Do any of you actively use this combination? Times are tough and I stretched to buy the Argons. I'm hoping I don't need to purchase a new amplifier.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Assuming that the Argon are the same sensitivity as the T50RP (1mW @ 92dB), in order to reach 115dB peaks, you'll need something capable of about 256mW at 50ohms... But 115dB is mind-bogglingly loud. If you can settle for "only" 110dB peaks, then you only need 64mW.

I don't have experience with the Mojo (or the Argon), but I think it should be fine for 64mW, but 256mW might be pushing it.

Thank you for the response. I like to crank my music on occasion but I get the impression I should be fine with the mojo on these cans. I’m scheduled to get them in roughly 8 weeks ... I’ll share my results.
