Well you can easily get by on 5 glasses(8 oz) per day of water or other liquids containing water, such as coffee, tea etc. 8 glasses of water can improve health in general.

I think this is taking the lounging to extremes. Maybe you could post a single thread, and put all your interesting things in there. No offense, but it seems like you posted quite a lot of trivial threads like this one.

If I don't drink enough water, an alien bursts through my chest and sings showtunes.

Uhhh … coffee is a strong diuretic and has a dehydrating effect, so you'd have to drink even MORE water after the coffee (or after the bathroom breaks)!

Not more water the better.

But better more than less.

We expend water pretty quickly and are mostly made of it, so I think it has some scientific basis.

I know that since I've been drinking more water my skin has become more healthy and I think I notice a positive affect on my energy level. As for answering natures call... I've got a short fuse for that anyways, so it is inevitable.

i drink heaps of water at work.

something like one glass an hour and often an extra glass or two before and after lunch (helps suppress appetite)

so i think i'd easily do 10-12 glasses a day and probably use the toilet twice?

i dunno where all the water goes

JUST KIDDING!

I drink 2-3 liters (= 8-12 glasses) of water a day... not counting my daily 3 cups of breakfast coffee and 2-3 espresso. Yes, I'm responding to nature's call every half hour/hour
