Dragonfly Red - failure to launch

Hi all,

Have just taken delivery of a new AQ Dragonfly Red and was really looking forward to hearing what most reviewers rave about, however . .

I’m connecting it to a MacBook Pro via USB and it simply flashes red on and off and is not recognised by the MacBook. Has anyone any suggestions that can help me please?
