There's another African Scam out there. They tried to pull a fast one on me a couple of times. The guy basicly wanted to send me a check for $2,500 even though my keyboard only cost $150.00. He then wanted me to Western Union him the balance immediately. I told him that I was cool with it, but only if he sent the check via FedEx next day (therefore scamming the scammer out of whatever it costs to send something via that method from Africa). Get it? Anyhow, this same person (I'm pretty sure because it was the exact same e-mail) scammed an older lady that I know out of $2,500.00. Be so careful. There's also a paypal scam that they tried to pull on me.

I agree, I've dealt with many Ebayers with 0 to 20 feedbacks without any problems so far. As long as they respond to my emails in a timely manner I'd give them a chance. Email the buyer if you haven't already and inform him that you would like to receive payment and a response to your email in a timely manner.

WHAT! Are you serious? Man, I hardly ever use eBay for anything (too many shady people...see above) but in the rare event that I'm looking for something that I wouldn't normally find in a store I will use it. Every auction that I've bid on I've won, simply because I came and threw in a bid like 45 seconds before it ends. I thought that's how everyone did it? I've never gotten any bogus complaints. I don't mean to be a jerk, but if you're looking to buy something, why not ensure that you will win it. Just my opinion.

Sorry you're getting jerked around Rnb, I hope you get things sorted out.

I agree with you. I just laugh it off and let folks at eBay know about any and all 'complaints' I receive.

I hate sniper programs. I got into a bidding war over a Mapletree audio amp. I got so pissed I decided to see how far it would go. Managed to get it up to only about $50 the original price. Hope it ended up costing the winner...

If 7 days has past since the end of your auction with no record of payment thru Paypal, fill a non payment complaint with Ebay. Ebay will send the buyer a non payment notice and allow 5 days for the buyer to complete payment or a negative strike will be issued towards the non payer's account.

The fool is on day four and I have gotten nothing from the buyer except "I sent payment" with no answer to what payment, how it was sent or when it was sent.

btw, I still have no payment, I really think he just sent me the email thinking I will ship him the item.

"0" feedback and an account opened just before my auction ended.

Nothing else, this guys really trying to scam me, ebay won't let me report him until a week from now.
