Anyone heard of this brand or how these speakers sound? My roommate is thinking about getting some.

New brand to me. I found the web site, which loads slow if you are dial up. like me. The speakers look nice (but that does not mean they sound nice), and the fact that I have not heard of them means nothing, really. I hope he gets to listen first, before he buys. What model was he looking at?

After poking around on the web site for awhile, I see alot of claims about the speakers and the company, but they all seem rather suspicious to me. Sounds like they buy speakers from an overseas manufacturer and label and sell them under the Dogg Digital name. The web site is cleverly in that they make it sound like a huge company with r&d and manufacturing facility's but what it really says is the "partner" handles all that. Bottom line- I would go for a known brand of speakers that has a decent reputation, and skip the unknown "Dogg Digital".

Yeah, I looked at the site briefly, too. I advised the same thing to him: Listen before you buy.

I wouldn't advise buying these. These come from the same people who run the white van speaker scams.

i mean... they're not awefull speakers... (well, marketing tactics are) I just wouldn't pay more than 80$ or so for a pair.
