I bought some hd650s on ebay, seeked a replacement

They told me to ship them back and I would get a new set, delivery confirmation shows they accepted it 12/27

its now January 3rd.

After that, they stopped responding to all my enquiries via email and phone calls. and kept the headphones and my money. I asked for a refund and still not answer.

Ill give it another week. If they rip me off Ill file a dispute.

Id say beware of ebay vendors.
This bothers me a lot.. First time this has happened to me on flea bay.

I bet you anything that tomorrow you get an answer as the time they received it untill now is probably the worst time of year to get into contact with a person as they are out doing their own thing.Mark my words.

Depending on which country the vendor is based in, they might be still on holidays with combined Christmas and New Year days. I would say give them another email either from 3rd/4th January if no, try again in 9th January. If still no reply, file a claim.

Just out of curiousity, does the seller have plenty of recent feedbacks? Best of luck, hope you get your fix of HD650 soon

p.s. This topic is probably best suited to be in the Lounge.

Indeed, the holiday season is the worst time to do business with e-retailers.

I'm just tired of taking chances on fleabay! A brand new 650 can be had for $306, so I figure that I can get one on fleabay for maybe $280-90. Of course, we all want to save some money here and there, but you just have to think of the possible consequences, with just a small amount saved.

I won't worry just yet. I'm sure that they are out for the holidays. I'm sure too that thier work load around this time is bigger than they can handle. Like you said, give them another week then start to worry.

Introductory pricing is probably still available at both Headroom and TTVJ. Call them and ask. It's well below $400.

When purchasing from eBay I try to purchase only from the major sellers there - 1000+ Rep. They may not have the ABSOLUTE best prices, but they'll go out of their way to make you happy since they fear negative rep.

You could've bought it from J&R (a completely reputable dealer) for $310 over new years weekend with their new year's coupon...
Now it's back up to $325, which is still pretty damn good. You might wanna call your credit card company to dispute the charge if it takes more than 2 weeks. I suspect everyone's on vacation until at least this week so I'd give it till friday to hear back from them.
