Im looking for some sort of THX/DTS whatever comes out of a dvd player surround decoder that will give me 3 stereo spdif outs (front/rear/cetner+sub)

does such a beast exist?

A friend and I recently discussed S/PDIF Demultiplexers while arguing how to get the best sound of a high-def surround sound format. We didn't look hard, but I believe having something like this would not be common at all. The reason being that S/PDIF can hold the DTS/THX transport stream so why waste time building 3 inputs and 3 outputs when one will suffice.
